• 2 oz Plymouth Gin
• 0.75 oz Lime Cordial
• 0.75 oz Lime Juice

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass.  Garnish with a lime wheel.

One theory is that the drink was named after British Royal Navy Surgeon Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Gimlette KCB (1857-1943), who allegedly introduced this drink as a means of inducing his messmates to take lime juice as an anti-scurvy medication. (Lime and other citrus fruit have been used by the Royal Name for the prevention of scurvy since the mid-18th century.) However, neither his obituary notice in the Times, nor his entry in the Who was Who 1941-150 mentions this association.

• 1 oz Orgeat (Small Hand Food Recomended)
• 0.5 oz Kübler Absinthe (has to be this Absinthe for the drink to taste right)
• 0.5 oz Fords Gin (or any standard gin)
• 3/4 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice 

Shake the shit out of it, and strain into a glass.

• ½ oz. Raspberry Vodka
• ½ oz. Sour Apple Pucker
• 1½ oz. Red Bull
• ¾ oz. Pomegranate Juice

In a cocktail glass, stir ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into glass.

Its part cocktail, part science experiment, part magic trick.

• 0.5 oz Red Cabbage Juice
• Pinch of Baking Soda (turns blue)
• 1 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Tripple Sec

Mix it all together.  When you serve the drink, dump in 1 oz lemmon juice. This will turn cocktail from blue to pink

Hot Fudge Bourbon Milkshake

•         1 1/2Cupvanilla ice cream
•         1/2Cupmilk
•         1Teaspoonvanilla extract
•         2Ouncesbourbon
•         1/2Cuphot fudge plus 2 tablespoons

Directions

Hot Fudge Bourbon Milkshake

At the bottom of each glass, add 2-3 tablespoons of hot fudge. In a blender, combine milk, ice cream, vanilla extract, bourbon, and about 1/4 cup of hot fudge. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses and top with bourbon whipped cream + another tablespoon of hot fudge.

Bourbon Whipped Cream

•         1/2Cupheavy cream
•         1Tablespoonbourbon
•         1Tablespoonsugar

Bourbon Whipped Cream

Whip ingredients together in an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Top shakes.

• 2 oz Vodka
• 2 oz Peach Schnapps
• 2 oz Cranberry-Apple Juice
• Ice

Put all ingredients (including the ice) into the blender and blend that shit up.

This week we are discussing the Alaskan Vampire book 30 Days of Book.  A failed screen play, turned into a comic, then optioned for a movie.  Cause that’s how Hollywood works kids.

This yields 4 cocktails.  Cause why would you want to drink just one of these....or I guess you could have drinks with 3 friends...I don't play well with others.

INGREDIENTS

• 2 cups raspberries
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 4 oz vodka
• 2 oz amaretto
• 2 oz orange juice
• 6 oz club soda
• 4 plastic syringes

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Puree the raspberries in a blender or food processor. Press the puree through a fine mesh strainer to separate the pulp from the seeds. Discard the seeds.
2. Combine the puree with the sugar in a small saucepan over medium high heat. Stir frequently and cook until mixture darkens and thickens, about 10 minutes. Chill until ready to use.
3. Add vodka and amaretto to a shaker with ice and shake the shit out of it.  Stir in orange juice and club soda. Pour into iced glasses.
4. Fill syringes with equal parts of the raspberry syrup and place in glasses before serving.

• 1 oz Malibu Coconut Rum
• Straw or Eye dropper
•  Half and Half

Mix Vanilla Vodka and Coconut rum together in a glass.  Using a Straw or eye dropper, drop a few drops of half and half into the glass.  It looks disgusting, but Adam claims it's tasty.

The first book from the 2012 relaunch of the Valiant comics line.  This week we dig into XO Manowar.  Part Spartacus, part alien abduction story, with some Ironman sprinkled in.
